One shouldn’t expect disco pop from a band of dudes named Claw Toe, Mungo Creature, Bongo Spasm, Museum of Death, and Infectious Rex, so when they do crack out a disco beat, it’s to a frankly scary synth wash in the track Geriatric Stalker. Yep. One problem often seen with runners is the development of claw toes. While this can have a few reasons as to why, a very important cause to rule out is the health of the flexor digitorum longus muscle. This muscle as the name implies, flexes the last four toes. We humans tend to become a tad too selfish and forget that other living beings also own the planet just as much as we do. Hunting animals for their fur, tusks, horns or any other body part is totally inhumane and insensitive act. God has created other life forms which are related to each other and even humans in the large cycle of life. When one member of the animal kingdom is lost forever, many other dependent species are in danger of becoming extinct animals. It is a race against time that will help us preserve nature's bounty for our future generations to admire. The most common area of arthritis in the foot is at the joint of the big toe Arthritis causes inflammation of the cartilage and lining of the body joints causing redness, warmth, pain and swelling. The big toe is necessary to push off every step you take, so if this joint begins to stiffen, pain can make walking a challenge. Toe pain may be experienced as a result of a toe deformity Conditions such as hammertoe, claw toe and mallet toes cause the toes to curl or bend in abnormal positions. Different toe joints may be affected by these conditions and the pain can be debilitating. Of course, as with any other ailment that a dog may have, it is often wise to take the dog to the veterinarian who usually cares for it. With this being said, the treatment for an inflamed claw can range from poultices to an antiseptic dressing. The claw may also need to be taken off if it is loose, but great care is to be taken so that the remaining portions of the claw are not damaged. If the situation warrants it, the dog's toes and claws can be protected by putting boots on the dog. The goal of surgical correction is to restore normal alignment and function of the toe joint. If the toes are still flexible the tight tendons can be released and the toe straightened through a small poke-hole in the skin. If the toe is rigid, the knuckle is straightened and returned to a normal alignment. A small pin is sometimes placed inside the bones to hold the toe in proper position while it heals. The pin does not stick out the end of the toe and very rarely needs to be removed. A claw toe is a term used to describe a toe that adopts a claw position. It often affects the third, fourth or fifth toes in one or both feet. The deformity makes it difficult to fit into some shoes and the affected toes can become painful. Claw toes can be treated and corrected in some cases. However, it is best to prevent the problem from occurring in the first place. By following these steps you may be able to prevent claw toes. I have seen this look before. And heard this ominous whistling, too. The thoughtful sequential tapping of claw after claw on linoleum. I can tell. Whiskers plots.
